The Association for Iranian Studies (AIS), in collaboration with the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Utrecht University, will host the 15th Biennial Conference of Iranian Studies. The conference will bring together leading scholars and researchers from around the world to share the latest developments in the field. The call for papers opens on July 1, 2025, and closes on September 21, 2025. Proposals are welcomed across all areas of Iranian Studies. While the primary language of the conference will be English, a limited number of panels will be held in Persian. AIS encourages inclusivity, diversity, and new perspectives in shaping the future of Iranian Studies.
