Afshin Aryanpur is a PhD candidate in the archaeology of historical Iran at the University of Tehran and is currently a visiting researcher on sabbatical in the Department of Classical Archaeology at Kiel University in Germany.
His current doctoral dissertation explores the archaeology of the Achaemenid period in the Phoenician city-states.
