The Azhyar Foundation will host an online critique and review session for the book “Anahita in Ancient Iran” by Dr. Arezoo Rasouli (Taleghani) on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 7:00 PM Iran Time via Google Meet.
The session will feature the following participants:
– Dr. Abolghasem Esmailpour: Mythologist, author, and professor of Ancient Cultures and Languages at Shahid Beheshti University. He previously taught at Shanghai International Studies University (2004–2006) and Lomonosov Moscow State University (2013–2015).
– Dr. Esmail Sangari: Professor and faculty member in the Department of History at the University of Isfahan. He holds a PhD in History, Languages, and Civilizations of the Ancient World from Université Lumière Lyon 2, France.
– Dr. Arezoo Rasouli (Taleghani): Author of the book, professor of Ancient Iranian History at Shahid Beheshti University, and translator/editor of works such as “From Zoroaster to Mani” by Gherardo Gnoli and the memorial volume “A Fire That Never Dies (Âtaši ke Namirad)” (honoring Morteza Saghebfar).
