The academy of Persian language and literature (Farhangestân-e zabân-o adab-e Fârsi), committed to its duty of preserving the Persian language and script, is organizing a conference in response to the increasing prevalence of non-standard forms of Persian and the emergence of diverse and often conflicting preferences in this field. The conference aims to establish standardized guidelines for the script and orthography of colloquial Persian.

The deadline for submitting full papers is November 20, 2024, and the results of the evaluations will be announced on December 20, 2024.
