Conference of the Sasanian Persia: Once Upon a Time

The conference “Sasanian Iran: Once Upon a Time” will focus on the latest research findings and scholarly achievements concerning the Sasanian and Post-Sasanian periods. It is organized by the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies, the Directorate of Museums under the Cultural Heritage Deputy of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, and the Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and Tourism.
This conference, held in conjunction with Research Week and under the academic direction of Dr. Leila Khosravi and Dr. Shahin Ariyamnesh, will feature prominent scholars, including Dr. Cyrus Nasrollahzadeh, Dr. Leila Khosravi, Dr. Hamidreza Dalvand, Dr. Shahin Ariyamnesh, Dr. Houshang Rostami, Mehrdad Parsaei Borazjani, Dr. Abdolreza Mohajernezhad, Dr. Mohammadreza Nemati, Dr. Nima Asefi, Dr. Meysam Labaf Khaniki, and Dr. Hossein Habibi. The speakers will explore new archaeological, linguistic, and historical discoveries of the Sasanian era.
The event will take place on December 18, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies, Hikmat Hall.
