The Fifth Fravahar Award Ceremony Honoring Outstanding Research in History, Culture, and Ancient Languages in 2025

The fifth Fravahar Award ceremony was held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Iraj Hall. This event honored outstanding theses and dissertations in the fields of history, culture, and ancient languages. The details of the winners in each category are as follows:

Selected Books for the Fravahar Award:

  • Manichaean Angels: A Study of Angelology and Related Concepts in Manichaeism by Mohammad Shokri Foumeshi
  • Pahlaviyat: A Study of the Surviving Poems of the Common Literary Language of Iraq-e Ajam and Azerbaijan by Pezhman Firouz Bakhsh
  • Karbaafi: Research, Documentation, and Ethnographic Study of the Clothing and Traditional Textiles of Iranian Zoroastrians—Identity and Attire by Farshad Salamaty and Shirin Mazdapour
