The second issue of Hunara for the year 2024 has been published as an Open Access journal. This special issue, titled Ancient Iran and the South Caucasus, was edited by Yousef Hasanzadeh and Helen Giunashvili and published by Casa Editrice Persiani in Bologna, Italy. Hunara is a scholarly journal dedicated to publishing research articles on topics related to Ancient Iran and the South Caucasus.
Some of the notable articles in this issue include The Achaemenid State and World Civilization, An Analysis of the Military History and Martial Culture of Ancient Iran and the Caucasus in the pre-Islamic Era, Metal Finger Rings with Achaemenid Motifs Discovered on the Territory of Georgia, and Adaptation of Elements of Sasanian Art in Early Christian Georgian Reliefs. These articles explore and analyze the cultural and historical influences of Ancient Iran on the South Caucasus region and highlight the cultural connections between these two areas.
