On Thursday, April 17, 2025, a tribute ceremony was held in honor of Dr. Abolghasem Esmailpour Motlagh, a distinguished scholar of mythology, at Babol Noshirvani University of Technology, with the presence of Dr Jaleh Amouzgar and a group of intellectuals and cultural figures. Coinciding with this event, the book “In the Shade of Myth” was published, featuring a collection of essays, memories, and photographs related to Dr. Esmailpour’s academic and cultural life. Divided into six sections, the book explores his contributions to classical and contemporary literature, history, culture, personal memoirs, rare photographs, and articles by international scholars, serving as a heartfelt tribute to his significant role in promoting Iranian mythology and Manichaean studies.
