This meeting will be hosted by La Sapienza University at the faculty of Letters and Philosophy. Scholars talk about Mesopotamia and remains of Mithraism in the Roman Empire. The organizer of the scientific meeting will be Professor Massimiliano David, researcher in the field of history and religions. He was active in the excavations of the ancient site of Ostia Antica, and research on Mithraism and the Mithraea constitutes one of the main branches of this researcher’s work.
