The accuracy of information extracted from ancient data largely depends on their pristine and untouched nature. Unlike written sources, which have often been subject to numerous alterations, coins, seals, and bullae contain firsthand information.

This webinar is organized by the Azhyar Foundation for Ancient Iranian Studies in collaboration with the research group Memory of a City: Ctesiphon and Baghdad and convened by Dr. Nima Asefi (University of Hamburg) and Dr. Khodadad Rezakhani (Leiden University).
