This conference aims to examine the transformations of Iran during the Sasanian Empire and the post-Sasanian period. Scholars are invited to submit their research papers on the specified themes to the conference secretariat.<\/p><p>Paper Submission Deadlines:<\/p><ul><li>Abstract submission deadline: Wednesday, May 21, 2025<\/li><li>Full paper submission deadline: Friday, August 22, 2025<\/li><\/ul><p>Conference Themes:<\/p><ul><li>Religion, Art, and Architecture<\/li><li>Cultural and Social History<\/li><li>Newly Discovered Archaeological Findings<\/li><li>Economy, Livelihood, and Trade<\/li><li>Political and Administrative History and Geography<\/li><li>Borders of Iran and Historical Geography<\/li><li>Iran\u2019s Interactions with Its Neighbors<\/li><\/ul><p>Special Theme of the Conference is the Archaeological and historical studies of the Sasanian and post-Sasanian periods within the geographical and cultural landscape of the coasts and hinterlands of the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Makran Sea.<\/p><p>Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Abstract Book, which will be available to participants on the day of the event. Additionally, full papers accepted for the conference will be published in the International Journal of Ancient Iran Research, following the event.<\/p><p>Dr. Zh\u0101le \u0100muzegar, Dr. Farz\u0101neh Gasht\u0101sb, Dr. Siros Nasroll\u0101hz\u0101deh, Dr. Samr\u0101 Azarnoush, Dr. D\u0101lovand, Dr. Sh\u0101hin \u0100ry\u0101manesh, Dr. Rouzbeh Zarrinkoub, and Dr. Mohammad Rahim Sh\u0101yeg\u0101n are among the scientific members of this conference.<\/p><p>The conference will be held at <strong>Tamaddon Hall of the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies in Tehran<\/strong>.
