This article discusses the conservation and restoration of the Espahbad Khorshid Arch- Structure in Savadkouh County, Mazandaran Province, after archaeological excavations in 1402. This historical arch, which dates back to the Sassanid era and the early Islamic period in northern Iran, has a unique architectural structure. After the archaeological excavations, emergency conservation and restoration operations were carried out to prevent further destruction of the arch. These operations included cleaning, restoring the Sassanid arches, and stabilizing the wall paintings. This restoration was carried out in cooperation with volunteer groups and history and nature enthusiasts, and was based on the theory of the Venice Charter.
