Call for Papers Announced for the 6th International Congress of Language and Translation Studies


Selçuk University of Türkiye has announced the organization of the 6th International Congress of Language and Translation Studies, scheduled for October 7–9, 2026, in collaboration with several universities from Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
The Department of Translation and Interpreting at the Faculty of Letters, Selçuk University, will host the 6th International Congress of Language and Translation Studies from October 7 to 9, 2026.
According to the organizers, the congress will be held in a hybrid format. Onsite sessions will take place at Bartın University, while online sessions will be conducted via Zoom. The event is organized in cooperation with Bartın University, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Bayburt University, Dokuz Eylül University, Fırat University, Munzur University, Necmettin Erbakan University, Ordu University, and Yozgat Bozok University.
The congress aims to bring together scholars and researchers working in the fields of linguistics, translation studies, second language acquisition, cultural studies, and foreign language teaching. Organizers state that the event will provide a platform for reviewing theories and research methodologies, addressing contemporary issues, critically evaluating past and present developments, and proposing future directions for these disciplines.
