The Committee on Language and Terminology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has announced a call for papers for the Third Persian-Speaking Linguistic Forum, titled “Our Language is Our World,” to be held in Dushanbe from 15–18 October 2026. The event is being organized in celebration of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence.
The forum will bring together scholars, researchers, university professors, academicians, and representatives of governmental and cultural institutions from Tajikistan and other Persian-speaking countries.
Conference themes include the role of language in civilization and social development, Tajik-Persian language studies, applied linguistics, manuscripts and textual research, translation studies, terminology, language policy, and the relationship between language and modern information technologies.
Selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings, Language and Terminology, following approval by the editorial board. The deadline for paper submission is 30 July 2026.
The working language of the forum will be Tajik-Persian. While participants are responsible for their travel expenses to Tajikistan, accommodation and local expenses will be covered by the Committee on Language and Terminology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
